JOB DESCRIPTION: This job description targets a professional who not only excels in the culinary arts but also values health, wellness, and the aesthetic presentation of food, aligning with the overall ethos of a winery and wellness center.The Culinary Artist & Charcuterie Specialist will be responsible for designing and preparing visually stunning and health-conscious food presentations, including charcuterie boards, that delight our guests and enhance their winery and wellness experience. This position requires creativity, knowledge of nutrition, and the ability to present food in an aesthetically pleasing manner that aligns with our wellness philosophy. highlights expertise in crafting charcuterie boards with a focus on wellness and health. Reflects a holistic approach to food preparation, focusing on health, wellness, and the artistic presentation of dishes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create visually appealing and nutritionally balanced charcuterie boards, appetizers, and small plates that complement our wine selections.

- Work closely with the winery team to develop pairings and presentations that enhance the tasting experience.

- Continuously explore and introduce new and innovative presentation ideas and culinary techniques that align with health and wellness trends.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and presentation areas, adhering to health and safety standards.

- Engage with guests during special events to obtain feedback and suggestions

- Collaborate with the wellness team to incorporate elements that promote health and well-being into the culinary experience.

- Assisting with The Hive’s exclusive menu and the Lifted Spirits food trailer, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience in a culinary arts role, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative presentations and a variety of cuisines.

- Knowledge of nutritional concepts and the ability to create balanced, health-focused dishes.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and enhance their experience.

- A passion for using and promoting organic, sustainable food practices.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by event scheduling.

- Food handlers certification

- Liquor commission card

- Willingness to fill in or assist in other roles as needed
