This requires a team that is led by an experienced, knowledgeable and customer -focused Manager, with an emphasis on ensuring that every customer has a memorable and positive experience while at our establishment.

TYPE: Full- time. Salaried, Overtime-Exempt

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The General Manager will play a critical role in managing our day-to-day operations, ensuring that every aspect of our winery and wellness business operates smoothly and efficiently. This role is responsible for staff management, operational oversight, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management, with proven expertise in leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for wellness and wine culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Management:Oversee the daily operations of the winery and wellness business, ensuring all activities run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities include opening and closing procedures, facility management, and maintaining operational standards.

Staff Supervision: Lead and manage a diverse team, including an Assistant Manager, Wine Servers, Cooks, and Bartenders. Responsible for staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of service and team morale.

Guest Experience: Uphold the highest standards of guest service, resolving any issues to ensure a memorable experience. Foster a welcoming atmosphere and lead by example in providing exceptional hospitality.

Financial Oversight: Work closely with the Vice President to manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure profitability. Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with legal and safety standards for food service, alcohol service, and overall facility safety. Implement and maintain health and safety protocols.

Strategic Planning:Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and business growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field

- Minimum of 2 years of management experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a winery, resort, or wellness center.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service.

- Knowledge of operational management, including financial budgeting, inventory control, and compliance standards.

- Passion for the wine and wellness industry, with a commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle.

- Valid Driver’s License
